Hi,
First post. :!:
I'm thinking of using Alfresco for seperate groups of users (read - different unrelated groups accessing it's own repository across the web). High level security is needed between the group's repositories, along with the ability for the administrator to set different, unrelated groups and their users with their own sets of rights and functionality levels. Is this configurable in a single instance of alfresco?
I have read of the hardware requirements scaling access reads and writes so thats all good but don't understand the functionality of Alfresco to bring the configuration and seperated functionality these seperate groups of users will need.
Also, is Alfresco image management an included part of the Community release?
All the above will be need to be accessed over the wwweb. Using the Alfresco free trail was annoying as it was so slow I'd forget what I was doing in the time it took to render a new page; pretty much unusable IMHO (can't blame my ISP for this). Is this an indication of Alfresco's inability to be applied across the web?
Any feedback is appreciated!
Simon.
