Question on GoogleDocs with master username and password

I'm using Alfresco 4.2.b Community.  In alfresco-global.properties I've set:

googledocs.googleeditable.enabled=true
googledocs.username=me@gmail.com
googledocs.password=mygmailpassword

# v2
googledocs.enabled=true

My question has to do with that master username and password (googledocs.username, googledocs.password).  Previous forum posts discussing previous versions of alfresco (perhaps up to 4.0 or 4.1) seem to indicate that it's possible to have alfresco use that master google docs account for saving working copies of documents to GoogleDocs. 

In 4.2.b, I'm not able to get that master username/password get used.  Instead, I need to login to google docs with my personal username/password.  With the settings above, if I don't login to google docs with my personal username and password I can't "Edit with Google Docs". 

If I set googledocs.enabled=false then the whole google docs integration functionality isn't visible (no "Edit with Google Docs" link for a document).

Should I just remove the:

googledocs.googleeditable.enabled=true
googledocs.username=me@gmail.com
googledocs.password=mygmailpassword

configuration block then, since it doesn't seem to work?  Or does a master username and password in fact work with 4.2.b and I just am missing a step or six?

I'm not 100% sure on the configuration of the V1 Google Docs of Alfresco.  But I can comment that it uses a checkout model…the action would be Check out to Google Docs.  The V2 Google Docs uses the "Edit it…" and checks out to individual google accounts.
