Question about Web Services API java doc

I notice that some examples coming with Alfresco SDK, import "org.alfresco.webservice.util.AuthenticationUtils" and "org.alfresco.webservice.util.WebServiceFactory". But I can't find the "org.alfresco.webservice.util" package from the Web Services Java Doc: http://dev.alfresco.com/resource/docs/java/web-service-client/

Any reason? Or is it because I am looking at the wrong API?
