Hi,
I'm a newbie just started on Alfresco Community 3.2.  Can some one help me and tell me how to create a public folder for all users (without the need to send out invites to every user) ? All I could find is adding rules and aspects to folders but no permisson or ACL settings for folder spaces.

  Need help . Thanks.

I don't get it.
If you create a new space, then go to "manage invited users", and set the Role you want to the group "EVERYONE"… then you'll get what you need.
No ?

actually what I want to is to create a public space for users from my domain.  I don't need to send them an invite before they can interact with the created space.  I want to create a space for approx 1000 users so I don't really want to send out invites to everyone before they can use the space..  How do I do this ?  Thanks.

Hi,
oops my mistake .  I was looking for the folder in the wrong space.. let me explain.  I created a folder in "company home" under administrator.  After that, I logged in as a domain user and checked for my public folder under my Home space.  Obviously it wasn't there.  It's a stupid mistake on my part.  Sorry.
