prod deploy - how does it work ?

Working thru the basics of the wcmqs product.

How can I control the Approver ?
Does not seem logical that anyone can approve the website.

Do I have to add each item of content to a publish web asset ?
  if I am doing a complete site that could be a lot of content elements.

the approver need to be a manager because of the prod folder access rights.
change the access rights to the folder you change who can approve.

the workflow does no stop you from assigning it to anyone, only problem when it approved it fails.
  no real message to the user of why - just fail shows in a dialog box.

yes each asset must be added or I can't see a why around that.
