I am fresher and a very new to activity. I tried to install it using the user guide but facing the problem that:
Its demo setup is not running properly which ideally should run after following the steps: It should automatically download and install tomcat then create configuration file.
I have unzipped the rar file in directory E://bpm. Does it require any other path?
Is there a reason why you didn't go for Activiti 5.11? The Ant script is not used is version 5.11 anymore. And you only have to copy the activiti-explorer.war that you can find in the Activiti download to for example a Tomcat server.
