I'm running Alfresco on a CentOS 6.4 Linux system and I have a problem with pdf preview.
I have investigated the problem and I fond out that pdf2swf tool can't find some Arial fonts generated from a windows system.
Here some output of the pdf2swf command:
ERROR   Internal error: No current splash fontinfo
VERBOSE looking for font Arial
VERBOSE Font Arial not found
ERROR   Internal error: No current splash fontinfo
ERROR   Internal error: No current splash fontinfo
ERROR   Internal error: No current splash fontinfo
ERROR   Internal error: No current splash fontinfo

Looking at the properties of the pdf I see it use TrueType(CID) fonts.
I've tested he same preview on an Alfresco instance installed over a Windows OS and  the output is correct, web preview has no problem.
Someone could help to fix the problem on Linux?

Thanks in advance
Daniele

Try installing the fonts on the CentOS manually from http://www.my-guides.net/en/images/stories/fedora12/msttcore-fonts-2.0-3.noarch.rpm and then try the preview.

Already tried, does not work.
I found those issues:

https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-18497
https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MNT-2326

it seems there is no solution.

Hi there,

It is an old thread but I am facing the same issue on Alfresco Community 5.0, Windows 7 and firefox.

Any solutions?

Thanks
