Problems with Alfresco Enterprise + Informix Database

Hi,

I'm now in CentOS + Tomcat + Informix + Alfresco E3.3.3.

And I got an error in db creation:

Failed to parse config resource: class path resource [alfresco/ibatis/alfresco-SqlMapConfig.xml];
nested exception is com.ibatis.common.xml.NodeletException: Error parsing XML.
Cause: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error parsing XPath '/sqlMapConfig/sqlMap'.
Cause: com.ibatis.sqlmap.client.SqlMapException: The <sqlMap> resource is missing: alfresco/ibatis/#resource.dialect#/qname-insert-SqlMap.xml

It seems like no alfresco ibatis dialect for Informix.

Is there any?
Is there a howto to install in Informix?

I can't found information official or in community about it, and this stack is a customer's requirement.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Antonio.
I never used Alfresco, but it you're trying to set it up with informix please check the following International Informix User Group page:

http://www.iiug.org/opensource

It's the home of a team dedicated to help people who need to use open source software with Informix.
IBatis and Alfresco are mentioned there, but I believe the best to do it to contact the team.

Regards.

According to http://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/supported-platforms/3-x/ Informix is not a supported database  Smiley Surprised

So you would have to either

a) Write the missing mapping files for Informix on your own
b) Convince your customer to use say PostgreSQL 🙂

Cheers

And to re-inforce that web page.   If there is a stack that you need then you need to contact Alfresco support.    They will probably only add stacks that are asked for.

I tried to, but our Partner Support say us, that is not in the roadmap… and there are no no-supported-stacks questions until we buyed Customer License. We are planning to buy this month, so one time we get it, we'll try again.

Thanks,

Antonio
