I've installed the alfresco-community-tomcat-2.1.0.tar.gz in Kubuntu. Then i've extract the file alfresco-community-wcm-2.1.0.tar.gz into my alfresco directory (/opt/alfresco). I restarted the tomcat and start the virtual-tomcat. Then I create a web project in Company Home and in Staging Sandbox of my web project I imported the file alfresco-wsf-website.war and when i go to Preview Website the page is not showing up, and i think is the virtual-tomcat that is not  working well. Someone could help me in this problem??
Thanks.

Some things to check:
  • What happens exactly when you try to preview a file from within the authoring environment?

  • Can you see the virtual-tomcat instance in a process list?  eg. ps -ef | grep java

  • Is there any output in the virtual-tomcat/logs/catalina.out file?
Cheers,
Peter
