problem whith text encoding

I am using Alfresco 1.3 . I have problems writing this letters in the text editor in alfresco. This is the result:

á –> á   –>WRONG

é –> é    –>OK

í  –> à   –>WRONG­

ó –> ó   –>WRONG

ú –> ú   –>WRONG

Should i specify some code in some .xml???
