Problem configuring CIFS and map network drive

Hi to everybody!
I need to configure the CIFS on Alfresco in order to map my spaces as network drive.
I have install the Alfresco Community Edition on a pc with Windows XP SP2.
The name of the machine is MISDACINVM1 and when I try to map the space from another machine I use this path: \\MISDACINVM1_a\alfresco\space_name but the system (Windows XP) says to me that the specified path doesn't exist.

Any Idea?

What do you see when you just type \\MISDACINVM1_a\ on your machine?
