possible to connect samba share with alfresco share

i m new to alfresco thing, but i want to connect a alfresco share with samba share user.. so that user's for samba share connect with alfresco share with same password.

is this possible by anyway??

or 1 more thing Alfresco share can work with Ms Sharepoint??
is possible and if yes then how??

please need help

Authentication: yes, if your SAMBA acts as a domain controler or if SAMBA uses a LDAP-service for authentication. Best practice would be to set up a LDAP for central user management since SAMBA cannot act as source for user syncronisation. See http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems

MS Share Point integration: as far as I know this is not possible (yet). Alfresco implemented some parts of the share point protocol to support sharepoint clients like MS Office but not the methods required for sharepoint to sharepoint communication.
