Once you complete your language pack, please consider making it available as open source and listing it in our Add-Ons Directory.

is there any available language pack that managed and handled right to left writing properly?

We have community-contributed Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese language packs. I have no idea whether or not they are implemented using right-to-left.

I don't know about the community ones, but the official Alfresco supported Japanese and Chinese language packs are left-to-right, as per English. I've not looked at the community contributed Arabic one yet.

I've had a (very) quick look at support for right-to-left languages in Share and while there is nothing in the localisation system that would prevent it, the layout of Share wasn't designed with this in mind, so I'm pretty sure there would need to be some CSS updates to support right-to-left language packs.
