Performance Problems...

Hi,

I am using Alfresco 1.3 and its has been with performance problems…It takes several seconds to create a space or to upload a document. Most of the times the server goes down:

The following error HTTP occurred:
HTTP code:   502
Message:   Problems in the connection, please try again later.‍‍‍

I am not a System Administrator or a Computers expert, but I need to understand if these problems come from Alfresco or from my Server or configuration. 😕

Is this a common problem?

Several performance issues were fixed in 1.4 - even more in 2.0 and the various enterprise releases. The 1.4.3 Enterprise customer release and the 2.0 Enterprise releases also have some further performance improvements around versioned objects.

I suggest you upgrade if you can and see if that helps!
