Order By Process Instance ID

Hi,

I am aware that order by process start/create time is not supported and that order by process instance id can do that since it is sequential. However, I've found out that the function does not give it to you as you may want it, since instance id is in the form of a string. 834 comes above 1234 if it's arranged descending. Thoughts?

Hi,

• use DB support (it depends on DB you use) e.g. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4939518/sorting-string-column-containing-numbers-in-sql (native queries could support it)
• use java in memory sorting
