Hallo,

i have a problem when i want to transform Word-Files to a PDF-file.
The operating system is debian etch, the installed software is apache-tomcat-5.5.23, openoffice, xvfb and sun-j2sdk1.6. The Version of alfresco is 2.1.0 Community.
OpenOffice is installed as a daemon with no x-environment (with xvfb).

The alfresco Log shows the following errors:

Hi,

I got the same error.

The user that owns the soffice.bin process should have the rights to write in your temp :  /tmp/Alfresco/

Let us know if it fix the problem or not. I'm stuck with another exception :

Caused by: org.alfresco.service.cmr.repository.ContentIOException: OpenOffice server conversion failed:

It was after a .odt to html conversion.

Regards,
Patrick
