Hello,
due to the technical concepts behind online edit / SharePoint connector, this only works in sites. If this is requires in User Homes as well, you either need to adapt the SharePoint connector (tough thing to do, talking from experience) or realize a user home as private sites of a specific user - which, by the way, is a default in Alfresco Cloud.
