Office 2003 Add In installation requirements

Hi,

I am testing Alfresco, and I cannot run the "Alfresco Add-In for Office 2003".
Once I have installed the plug-in, I open Word but nothing appears. There is no Alfresco Toolbox by default and a right click on the menu displays a list of all the available toolbox but there is no Alfresco's toolbox in this list…
On my harddisk, there is a folder "C:\Program Files\Alfresco\Alfresco Add-In for Microsoft Office 2003" with 11 files.
Walking through the register, I found a key with a filepath I can't find on my hardrive:
%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\VSTO\8.0\AddinLoader.dll
Do I need this file ?

I suppose that I am administrator of my computer (I can run regedit) but I was asking myself if it was possible that this problem comes from a conflict with a gpo policy ??

Thanks by advance for all your suggestions / ideas …
Emmanuel

I had the same problems, this is what I had to do to fix everything:

First, uninstall all previous versions of the add-in (word, office, etc)

Download the 2.9c version of the add-in

Second, go to office update and install all the latest updates

Third, go to tools -> Customize -> commands -> tools and drag the "Com Add-ins" to a tool bar

Fourth, close the customize dialog

Fifth, click the COM Add-In button   and hit the checkmark for AlfrescoWord2003

Sixth,  tools -> Customize -> Toolbars -> and check "Alfresco"

7th, close the customize dialog box and click the Alfresco toolbar icon.

Thanks a lot for your answers!

I, finally found the problem: when I've installed the Office Add-in, I run the "AlfrescoOffice2003Setup.msi" file, not the setup.exe file and some of the program was not installed… silly… Now it works fine!
