While developing my app in 5.11 I broke the database so badly (MySQL 5.6) that I had to delete the database. Then I start having issue with activiti explorer. I have deleted the explorer, the database, and even reinstalled tomcat. The only change I made to the deployed explorer after reinstalltion was the activiti.cfg.xml that has worked fine for months. However, when I log in as kermit I get a console bell and when I click on Manage I get an Internal Error alert and the following output on the tomcat console. Any ideas are appreciated.

Here is my activiti engine file:

  <bean id="processEngineConfiguration" class="org.activiti.engine.impl.cfg.StandaloneProcessEngineConfiguration">
    <property name="history" value="audit" />
    <property name="jdbcUrl" value="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/activiti" />
    <property name="jdbcDriver" value="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" />
    <property name="jdbcUsername" value="root" />
    <property name="jdbcPassword" value="—— />

    <property name="databaseSchemaUpdate" value="true" />

    <property name="jobExecutorActivate" value="false" />

Here is the console output:

Is that all the stacktrace you have? I can't see the source of the exception.

Also, any reason why you can't upgrade to 5.13?

The problem went away on it's own. I was working at a hotel when everything went crazy, when I got home the problem went away. That doesn't really make sense since it was all localhost, but that's all that changed. I didn't even reboot. Thanks for your help either way.

Probably some sort of proxy installed at the hotel … I've seen it happening myself.
