Are there any notable changes or bug fixes between the October 11 V1.4 Community Candidate Release of Alfresco and this current October 25 V1.4 Community Release of Alfresco?

Yes there many JIRA fixes, some are important as they relate to database connections issues, search and various UI bugs.

It is recommend that you move to the Community final release.
