NoSQL DB support

Does Activiti support any NoSQL database so far? If not, are there any plans for this in the future?

No, we don't support NoSQL databases yet. One of the reasons is because we rely on database transactions quite a bit. However Joram wrote about some work he has been doing with Neo4j:
