New install, tomcat 404, no logfile

Hello,

I've installed alfresco on a fresh debian7 system using the command line.

sudo alfresco-community-4.2.f-installer-linux-x64.bin –optionfile alfresco_installer.conf‍

When I try to access http://localhost:8080/share Tomcat returns "404 - not found".
Tomcat is runing fine (netstat -ntulpen)

Starting alfresco with ./alfresco start
returns nothing.
./alfresco stop / status returns nothing too.

Next step was to look for the alfresco-logfile.
=> no luck.
There is <b>no</b> logfile under /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/alfresco/
or /home/user/alfresco/

Can someone help me please?

Hello,

If you don't have Alfresco log file, it seems that you have a problem before Alfresco is launched, that is to say with Tomcat.
Do you have errors in Tomcat log files ? You should find them under /var/lib/tomcat7/logs or /var/log/tomcat7.

Same error for share.war.

But those 2 files are definitely there:

Tomcat seems to have problem to unzip your alfresco.war file. This file should be corrupted.
Does it work when you try to unzip manually this file (with 7zip for example)?
