New folder problem

Hi all,
I have a trouble using Alfresco share (3.4.d).
In document library, when I click on "New folder" link, nothing happens. The form doesn't show and the button is enabled.

Any suggestions?

Hi davidex,

Are you using Internet Explorer? If your browser's not set in Compatibility Mode it can pretty much render most of Share's functionality unusable. Just click the "page tear" icon in the address bar, next to the refresh icon and try again..

Thanks Ben for your reply, but I'm sure it's not a render problem. I use a local installation of Alfresco share and it works fine. When I connect to another server it doesn't work. So I think that there are some wrong customizations.. but which one?

Nothing in the logs? not even a javascript error?

I have a javascript error:
Dom.get(p_dialog.id + "-dialogTitle") is null
in toolbar.js

You will have to debug javascript using Firebug or Chrome's developers tools and figure that error out. Might be a mispelling in the javascript.

What I would also do is check the source of the page you are in and search for "dialogTitle", I guess you won't find it…
