new alfresco 4 and old alfresco 3.4 on the same machine

I have an alfresco 3.4 community running nicely on my server with several customized alfresco apps

I would like to test alfresco 4 on the same server

Is there a way to setup the installation of alfresco 4 community in order to make it play nicely on the same server but without affecting my old 3.4 installation?
