Need info for upgrade to 5.21 from 5.20

Hi Experts,

We are using activiti 5.20  , now we want to upgrade to 5.21.
We are using just activiti-explorer only.

So can anyone help us in the stepping for upgrade from 5.20 to 5.21 including the application(activiti-explorer and database).

Will it impact if i directly point 5.21 activiti-explorer to my existing database from activti 5.20.

Hi,

I'd like to know this too please.  I originally downloaded the activiti-5.19.0.zip, deployed activiti explorer on tomcat with an adjustment to db.properties to use MySQL.  Couldn't find any details anywhere with regards to upgrading. 

Are we meant to remove an old 'activiti-explorer' deployment and simply replace it with the newer one and copy over the db.properties file from the previous install or should each individual upgrade be done? eg 5.19.0 > 5.19.0.2 > 5.20.0 > 5.21.0

Does deploying a new activiti-explorer that points to the existing MySQL database, trigger its own realisation that it needs to bring the existing schema up to date?
