We sometimes have the issue of name clashes on model namespace prefixes if customers also use other modules / implemenations from others. It would be great to have something like a namespace prefix registry to avoid duplicates which is nearlly impossible to solve without heavy migration. In principle we could try to use unique prefixes (longer than 2-3 letters) but then the properties are getting unusable for users to search for.
Actually the non existence of a real dynamic search UI is the only reason to keep the prefix short
