Multiple Upload for Alfresco

Hi Everyone,
     I was wondering if multiple upload is doable in alfresco 1.4. Right now, we are uploading files of about 300+ images per day. We use FTP to upload these files because the web client of alfresco is only capable of uploading one file at a time. Is there a configuration that needs to be done to do multiple files uploading or is it just not possibe with alfresco 1.4? I hope the newer versions have this capability.

Not directly in the web-client no. FTP/CIFS/WEBDAV can all be used for batch update - also a user posted the code in these forums for a ZIP file import action where you upload a single ZIP containing all the files you want and it gets exploded out into the Alfresco repository.

Hi Kevin,
     Thank you very much! Actually, I've tried zipping the files to be uploaded in alfresco web but these files cannot be found when searched. For the meantime, we are using FTP to upload these image files thus, easy searching.

     By the way, we have already launched alfresco (LIVE). So far so good!
