I have an issue in 3.2r2, where MS Office documents sometimes opens as read-only when accessed via cifs. There's no complaint from MS Office that the file is already in use, it simply opens in read-only mode. It doesn't seem to affect all files and not every time, but more often than not for some files.
The client os is Windows 7 and the MS Office version is 2007.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour and where does the problem lie?
