Mounting an Alfresco CIFS drive using Linux

Hi,

Is it possible to mount a drive in Red Hat Linux that points to a folder in Alfresco.
e.g: I am looking to make the contents of a folder stored in Alfresco available through a linux terminal using an ls command.

The Alfresco folder is accessible in Windows by mapping a network drive and writing in the address
\\xx.xx.xx.xx\alfresco\Sites\TestSite\documentLibrary\Version

My attempts to map to this drive using Linux however havn't worked using commands like

mount -t cifs -o username=clem //xx.xx.xx.xx/alfresco/Sites/TestSite/documentLibrary/Version /mount/test

Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me if this is possible to achieve?

Clem.

Hi,

yes, it is possible. Have you set the property on true you need for enabling cifs-mount?
