Modify Adhoc workflow

I had a request to assign tasks to individuals in Alfresco but to assign the same task to multiple people.  The one in the system only supports adding one person.  I assume there is probably an easy way to duplicate the workflow and change it to support multiple people assignments but never worked with it before.  Any help with how to do this would be appreciated.

So for example, kind of like "everyone turn in your book reports by Friday".  The task is assigned to each person and one person finishing the task does NOT finish it for everyone else as they all have the same task to complete.

Thanks.

Hi!

There is support for it in the bpmModel.xml for single and multiple assignees and also single and mulitple groups
Basically they use the "bpm:assignees" property instead of "bpm:assignee"
There is also an example workflow that allows you to select a group and then assign a task to each member of the group, take a look at the "Group Review & Approve" workflow.

Cheers,

Erik

PS. I redirect all credit for this to Gavin 😉

Thanks Erik and Gavin.  As a nub with workflows in Alfresco, any input on the exact steps to copy an existing workflow like the Adhoc one (files, where to put them, etc) as a starting point to create a new one would be appreciated.  I'm just starting to read thru the jBPM stuff and had a request for a tweak to the Adhoc workflow so need a jump start so to get them "impressed" with Alfresco before they wander off to SharePoint and Nintex.

Thanks.
