I have Alfresc0 5.0d Community installation, for a particular site I notice a number of documents display the name of a Consumer as Modified 3 hours ago by "John Doe".
Could you please share screen shots? There are few out of box users available in alfresco in demo site, but your case is weird. Is that out of box site available in alfresco or the one you have created? Is that your local instance or exposed to intranet/internet(with public ip)?
