Mixing JSF pages and freemarker template

Hi,

I'd like to do the following thing :

On the view in jsf page, the user has a dropdown list with which an action-listener is linked.
When the value change, the backing bean compute the new value of a list.
The freemarker template display the new list.

How can we do ?
