Migrating Data from Alfresco Enterprise 3.3 to 3.4

Hi All,

So far I've worked in Alfresco Enterprise Edition 3.3 and now my business needs to migrated to the Alfresco Enterprise Edition 3.4. So I need to take the back up of data from alfresco 3.3 and need to upgrade it into 3.4. So I did the Following

1. Hot Back up of lucene-index
2. Had sql Dump. Have taken the back up Alfresco Database.
3. Hot Back up of these files.
contentstore
contentstore.deleted
audit.contentstore
backup-lucene-indexes‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

Now I installed Alfresco EE 3.4 and now I have modified the alfresco-global.properties to point to Mysql database.
Then I took the alf_data of 3.4 and have moved the backed up alf_data files to the 3.4 dir.root.

Now am starting the server…
It is giving an exception saying that…

Access Denied : The system is currently in read-only mode. ‍

What may be the problem. please help me on this.

You probably need a new license.

So the thing is In order to Migrate data from one version to other we need liscense isn't it? Thats what you are saying right?. If so I will try to get the liscense for Alfresco 3.4.
And one more thing, do we need both the enterprise edition's to be licensed? ie., fpr Alfresco EE 3.3(Data From) and Alfresco EE 3.4.(Migrated to).
