Is there a maximum file size for files checked into Alfresco?  I have added a PDF file that is 46.5MB and it took it just fine, but when I try and access it I get the error message "The file is damaged and could not be repaired."  This seems to happen on all large files (i.e. > ~40MB).  If I FTP the file back down, it is unreadable as well. I'm assuming something happens during the storage of the file that makes it corrupt.  I've tried ftp and the regular web interface when checking the stuff in and both result in the same error.  (WinXP w/ SP2, and Tomcat install of the open source edition)

No, there isn't any maximum size of file that can be uploaded.

We have successfully tried files much much larger than the one you are having trouble with.

Do you see any errors in the log files when you do the upload?

Nope…nothing in the logs.

Just the error "The file is damaged and could not be repaired." in the browser when I try and pull it back down. Smiley Sad
