Mapping drive by IP address. CIFS config troubles.

Hi!
How to map drive by ip address? Mapping by name i.e. \\servera\alfresco works just fine on the same machine where alfreco is installed.
\\ip\alfresco doesn't work.

Have you tried running

nbtstat - a <<alfresco_server_ip>>‍

And one more thing…
When I'm trying to map CIFS share by IP in the same network segment (e.g. client IP 172.172.174.11 and server's IP 172.172.174.100) windows XP sp3 asks for login and password but authorization with alfresco credentials (admin etc) doesn't work. Mapping by name or by IP from the other lan segments doesn't work at all.
