making new workflow

hello… i have been reading the wiki of workflow administration…
and i hve a doubt… do i have to create all this new .xml file 4 each new workflow (task model) ?????? is it that dificult… im trying to do this couse the ad-hoc workflow isnt enough 4 all task i have to do… please any one help me in this… im new Very Happy

If you are capturing metadata about your workflow that isn't already in Alfresco's workflow model, you have to create your own workflow model so that Alfresco know's what you want to capture (a priority or a status, for example).
