Hello all,

I am running Alfresco Community Edition 3.3.
How do you install Standalone Deployment Receiver on a Mac OS X. Don't see an installer for it: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Community_Edition_file_list_3.3
Anyone know how to?

Thanks,
Gary

You will need to install via the zip file provided.   Just unpack it.   You won't have the menu start bars but the deploy_start and deploy_stop commands should be sufficient.

Incidentally there is a mac installer in 3.4, but don't be tempted to use the 3.4 version of the SDR with Alfresco 3.3.

Thanks mrogers.

However, after unzipping, I was unable to run deploy_start.sh. I get the following:
-bash: ./deploy_start.sh: Permission denied

I am guessing no installation means the permissions on any of the files in SDR never got set? Help please.

Alfresco Web Server and Alfresco Virtual Server are already running. I can start them fine from Terminal by running commands, ./alf_start.sh and ./virtual_start.sh, respectively.

I'm not familiar with Mac, but you probably need to set execute permission.
