HI,
Trying Alfresco for my company PoC.
I have installed the community 4.0.c version on XAMPP 1.7.7 which has tomcat 7 running and MySql 5.x
I have deployed the share.war and alfresco.war successfully.
However I could not log in to the console.
I tried admin admin etc.
Can any body please help me what is the admin/password for this kind of installation as against windows installer which asks for password during the installation process.
Any help or guidance is Appreciated.
Thank you

Please can you check the alfresco log to see what happens when you try and log in.
Also, when you say you've deployed the war files ok, what exactly do you mean by that? What is it that is ok, do you mean that the front-end interface is coming up ok for share? That still doesn't necessarily mean that the alfresco back-end war is deployed ok.
Can you log in to
http://localhost:8080/alfresco
ok? (substitute correct host and port of course)

If the server that are hosting Alfresco doesn't have much memory, after a while online, the Alfresco server will return the error message about the login credentials or server availability. Then you have to Stop the Alfresco service and Start again.
