lock files without checking out?

Hi,

is there a possibility to lock documents without checking them out? It seems that assigning the aspect lockable is not enough to get it work.

Just adding the "lockable" aspect doesn't lock an object. You must specify a lockType and a lockOwner.

The Node Browser in the Explorer client is a great place to learn about object properties.
