Cannot add a subgroup with the same name

Hi,

It is not possible to add a subgroup with the same name as a top-level group. Alfresco says "A group ID with the same name already exists, group identifiers must be unique." Is it a bug or is it by design? I thought subgroups had to be unique only in their parent group.

This is by design in 2.9.
The implementation just has an id.

Groups will be allowed to have a display name in the future - but they must still have unique ids.
