I wish create shortcut  to space in alfresco. (alfresco.war webapplication)

I search everywhere, but I dont know, what i should click to create shortcut  to space.

• Click the "copy" icon under the space.


• On the left, change the Navigator tree view to "Shelf".


• In the clipboard section click the "Paste As Link" option (grey clipboard with chain link).

thnx, but this solution dont working in cifs.

Shortcuts haven't been exposed via CIFS or WebDAV yet.

i dont remember strictly but shortcut working in cifs but only to space.

Are you sure to arent other solutions?

Hi there,

Sorry but I don't know (yet) about CIFs.
However I have been trying to create a shortcut (link) to an Alfresco Space so I could put it on my desktop or mail it to someone.
This is what I did:
•   Go to the space for which you want to have the URL (to create the link).
•   Click on “More Actions” and select “View Details”.
•   Under Links: right click “Browse Page URL” and select “Copy Shortcut”.
•   Now the space URL is put on your clipboard and can be paced to a location on your PC, in a document or an email.
