Link Check & Latest Source Build

I'm looking at the latest build, and so far there are a lot of good things that will be in 2.1.  One that I've been able to test now is the link checking.  This does work, but I would like to know how to pass a few parameters to the linkValidationService.  In the source I see there is a value for the validateExternal.  Is there a way to pass this in without re-building?

The other thing with this is when in production it would be nice for the admin to be able to have a list of urls that were never checked.  Is this going to be possible?

Not yet, nor does it do anything yet.
My advice is to not invest time in
thinking about bells/whistles like this
for the next week or so, as the code
itself is still undergoing some changes
that go beyond bugfixes.
