Limit Alfresco functionalities?

Hello everybody! 

Here is my question:
I want to use Alfresco as a simple file sharing tool. So I don't want to use Alfresco advanced functionnalities (like for example workflow, versionning, etc.). Is there a simple way to delete (or limit) these functionnalities from Alfresco?

Hello,

You could configure the web client so as to hide most of these actions. Have a look at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Externalised_Client_Actions#Action_Group_Configuration to see how menu configuration works. You can then override all menu definitions to show only the actions you want.
