Hi,
I have 2 problems.
1) I would connect Alfresco to LDAP (the same LDAP that use for liferay and other software)
2) I would see Alfresco in Liferay
for the item 2 i see that exists a doclib portlet that is obsolete in latest version of alfresco.
So, now, what is the best way to show alfresco inside liferay?
Best regards

Hello,
the best way is to use the CMIS hook for the Documents and Media portlet in Liferay to access Alfresco and its contents via CMIS.
Regards
Axel

So,
I must use Alfresco storage space attached like external CMIS and so the graphical interface is the Liferay CMIS GUI?
I don't see alfresco GUI but use Liferay portlet for storage but the storage is under alfresco.
And Alfresco access permission and rule? and Alfresco Workflow?
Best regards

Hello,
yes, you would use Liferay portlet / GUI to access Alfresco. All access permissions in Alfresco are properly considered - but you can't change them via Liferay, because the Liferay GUI is pretty limited. Also, you can't use workflows in Alfresco from the Liferay GUI.

Hi Alex,
I used CMIS integration as you suggested… but is not stable.
I login as admin and i add alfresco repository as external repository. All is ok: i see all folder on alfresco. So I exit from liferay and login again with a user account: external repository don't work.
After some login-logout also admin can't see now external repository and "document and Media portlet" tell me "The folder could not be found. ".
I restarted both Alfresco and Liferay bit external storage still not work.
I did in new page a new external storage. So i read now in previous page "The folder could not be found." and in new page teh correct content.
Other user can't see this content and again after some login-logout, the admin also can't see externale storage.
Again restarted both systems (Alfresco and Liferay) but again external storage not work!
Best regards

Hi Alex.
I solved my problem with Liferay, Alfresco and LDAP.
I also integrated Alfresco in Liferay using CMIS as you suggested.
Now remain to integrate ALfresco worflow in liferay ( or simple to show alfresco interface in Liferay).
You talked about one "Liferay portlet / GUI to access Alfresco" but I can't find in Liferay "add" menu.
In in Content or application tab? Is an extra component? Is a base component that i must customize?
Thanks in advance.
