Did you get anywhere on this? I am wondering the same… I need to get LDAP syncing with a Zimbra LDAP installation. SugarCRM is already working well with it.
Did you all successfully configure LDAP already in 3.2? I configured mine for LDAP authentication and also for Sync in the property files but from the logs I do not think either is actually active. Was wondering if this was functional in 3.2 since they have moved some of the files around.
I wasn't successful in getting LDAP sync working with Preview 1. A lot has changed in the config of those services and I haven't had time to look into it further. It looks like preview 2 is about around to be released. I'm hoping to have time to give it a go. I'll let you know what I find when I can.
i am also attempting to do ldap sync with v3.2. I want to do ldap sync, but use ntlm passthru to a samba server for authentication. I did this successfully with a previous version of alfresco.
