Launching custom actions upon share forms submission

Hi,

Is it possible to extend the form submission so that we can launch some custom actions?

My requirement is to be able to create folders/file nodes, create custom permissions, create new sites, launch workflows based on the metadata from a form.

Currently I'm trying to deploy the above custom actions upon creation of a new item within a datalist. How may I achieve this? At the moment, I was thinking about using  either js rules to be launched when a new node is created within the datalist or a js/java backed webscript to launch the custom actions. Any advice to do this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi yes that is possible, please take a look at the following page about forms in general…

…and make sure you read the section in the end about form filters (that is what you want to create).
