Kofax Release Script for Alfresco

Is anybody using Ascent Capture to load documents into Alfresco?
I would love to hear from somebody on this subject.
More specifically, loading multi-page TIFF files into Alfresco.
But at this point, I would appreciate hearing from anybody.

I am also interested in this subject. From what I see, there isn't too much popularity on this solution

I think this is very important piece in the EDM solution especially when there is a high volume of papers to scan. We are hoping to implement the solution in near future using release script. I have experimented script with Alfresco-1.4 version in the beginning. It was doing all the basic stuff including release of multi page pdfs……but never got into detail stuff. It would be interesting to see how it will work with 2.x. Have you tried release script with 2.x version?

I have a similar question - does anyone use ImageNow to add images to Alfresco? Is there some kind of integartion available?

The Kofax Ascent is a very well-known solution for the enterprise and cost is pretty high. We have the alternative solutions. The scanning software have been tested over 100,000 pages per days over 2 months in OCR/Barcode routing and importing to alfresco, which allow you do the search from name, description, aspect(key search) or even full-text OCR over the pdf image.
