Kepler keeps hanging when creating new Activiti Diagram

I'm using ArchLinux and the latest version of Eclipse kepler and Activiti Designer. But when I create a new Activiti Diagram in Eclipse, the program keeps hanging. The progress bar on the bottom right shows 'Remote System Explorer Operation' initially. After I googled about this problem and modified some preferences settings about eclipse-rse, this message disappeared, but the hanging problem is still unsolved.

I would like to upload some screenshot, but couldn't find the entry.

Mac+Kepler works well too, I'll try again on other distribution of Linux another day

To be precise. CUPS is not needed, when we disable printing support in eclispe. See linked topic
