Join Query with Basic Associations?

Is it possible to query the associations(not a child-association but a simple association without delete propagation) of a node?
If not, do the Alfresco Team intend to make it possible?

Hi Nikko,

I would love to say yes, but currently, no.  Associations require navigation via the API.

Please don't take this as confirmation of providing the capability, but we are thinking about joins in the context of defining/supporting a SQL-like query language.

It looks like adding association info to the SOLR index will be out of scope for the next release.
JOIN support is definitely out of scope.

Both are on the product backlog ….
