The Alfresco JLAN Server Installation Guide, extracted from alfresco-jlan-source_5_0_0.zip, mentions that a sample jlanserver.xml file is in the "demo kit".  However, I can find no such file in the above zip, nor do I know anything about this "demo kit".  Can someone either tell where to find this sample jlanserver.xml, or provide me with one.

JLAN 5.0 is now very old.

In JLAN 6.0 the file is called jlanConfig.xml

Sorry, I don't know.   I would expect them to be similar,  but there are new features being added all the time.

Just downloaded the JLAN 5 file from sourceforge.   Yes there's a jlanConfig.xml there too.     And there's a DTD file as well.

On Alfresco's SVN HEAD.

I've gone into the "alfresco-jlan" project.
Run "ant"
Put my external IP address in to the jlanConfig.xml,  <broadcast>192.168.1.69</broadcast>
"runsrv"

JLAN starts up o.k.    I don't see an error about a missing XML file.

Thank you, but i meant running JLAN using the codes. I did it using jlanConfig.xml and everything is alright now.

Hello all,
Does anyone have a simple JLAN configuration file that allows you simply read/write file(s) on the network/local file system?
